Mothers & Childeren Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO)

MCMDO has successfully implemented 4 pilot solar water drinking projects in Harari region with its partner blueEnergy and EDF Foundation.
MCMDO is working to creating energy autonomous and climate resilient rural community model which has solar kiosk, community managed biogas and collective biogas kitchen, solar cooker and solar water heater with the support of French Embassy and blueEnergy/ Synergie Solaire.
Based the results obtained from MCMDO and blueEnergy have launched scale-up for 8 solar water pumping project with support of EDF Foundation, Grand Lyon city, Synergie Solaire, Michelham Foundation and HWSSA.
The Installation of the project has been started on Feburary 1, 2019.
