Climate change and Environmental protection

The renewable energy programs developed by MCMDO are focused on the following areas:

• Solar pumping system for drinkable water access in rural zones and irrigation,
• Solar power plant (from 5 to 20 kW) to provide electricity for local communities,
• Energy autonomy for basic services and to develop activity of rural communities (solar kiosk, biogas , improved cook stove, solar water heater and solar cooker).
