International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the socail,economic,cultural and political achievements of women.Theday also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together women’s achievements for women’s equality.

Marked annually on March 8th , International Women’s Day(IWD) is one of the most important days of the year to:

. Raise awareness about women’s equality

MCMDO Ethiopia works day and night to empower women. We celebrated Fantastic International Women’s Day at the child space DIRC project with our beneficiary Street living mothers (have infant child). At the celebration, different entertaining programs were presented to guests,  better results were rewarded, and beneficiaries shared their successes stories.
